Bethany offers two different Sunday services to meet the needs of its varied congregation. Choose the service that is right for you and join us this coming Sunday. A description of each of the services follows: The Traditional Service (Sun 9:15 AM)
The Contemporary Service (Sun 10:45 AM)
Other Aspects of the Worship ServicesBoth services offer a full Sunday School for the kids and a staffed nursery. On the first Sunday of every month, we share in the Sacrament of Communion at both services. Our Communion table is open to all people regardless of church or denominational affiliation. The only requirement is that they believe in Christ and in the promise he offers through this Sacrament. Very often, we will have additional aspects added to our services. We will have Baptisms, involvement by the Sunday School Classes, and involvement from members of the Congregation on various occasions at both services. We'd like to invite you to join us for services any Sunday. We think you'll find Bethany a warm and inviting church with a passion for building relationships in Jesus' name. |

Worship

The traditional service follows a liturgical tradition, and is rooted in the long tradition of Protestant worship. Our music is played on our 1980 (opus 6) Kinzey-Angerstein tracker organ (shown here) or our piano. Pastor Paul preaches a sermon and from time to time we are treated to the talents of the joyful noise, gospel or bell choirs, soloists (both vocal and instrumental) and the Bethany drama team. Though some of the service stays the same, each week is a little different! We hope you'll consider attending.
The format of this service is informal and loosely structured. A praise team of musicians and singers leads the music for this service and the style is contemporary Christian. Multimedia technology is also an important part of the worship experience. Come try it out!
